Would an F&B Specific Community be helpful in golf club F&B?

I hope both you and your clubs had a wonderful Christmas.

I wanted to start by saying thank you for your support in 2025. Whether you've been reading these emails since March or you joined last week, it means a lot.

I'm emailing today because I'm building something new, and I would love some input.

I speak to lots of GMs who have felt that some focused F&B support, benchmarking, ideas and problem solving would be helpful. I know there is a lot of brilliant stuff via the CMAE and the GCMA etc; I would like to create something far more focused on F&B.

What I'm building

An online community for General Managers who want to improve their F&B operations and results. 

Here's how it works:

It’s two group, monthly calls. One as a problem solving Q&A, and one from an industry expert. Stock taking, chef recruitment, menu design, procurement, combi oven experts. This is focused on understanding the issues and how to solve them; but also to understand F&B more deeply. Even if you’re not hands on, F&B is easier to manage if you understand it more deeply.

  • 2x 1-hour calls per month: one Q&A with me, one expert session with someone from my network (procurement specialists, HR advisors, operators)

  • WhatsApp group: for quick questions and shared learning between calls

  • Resource library: short training videos and tools you can access anytime

  • Peer learning: a space to learn from GMs solving the same problems you are

I'm aiming to launch this in spring. No date yet; I want to get it right first.

I need your input

I've put together a short survey. Five minutes, maybe less.

I want to know what matters to you, what you'd actually use, and what would make this worth your time and investment.

Your answers will shape the structure, the pricing, the content; all of it.

One more thing, this is aimed at senior leadership. I'm developing a separate platform for F&B Managers and Head Chefs later in the year.
